Youth Behavior Improves Through Mediation Program.
Program funded by Butler County United Way
More than 80 percent of youth with prior behavior issues are not returning to court after taking part in a program run by the Alcohol & Chemical Abuse Council .
These results are from the Status Offender and Misdemenor Mediation (SOMM) Program

Kick off taking place Monday, July 24
Butler County United Way will kick off the 2006-07 campaign season with a celebration at the Butler County Fair on Monday, July 24.The event will take place at 6 pm at Butler County United Way's booth. The celebration will include a campaign announcement, giveaways and special guests.

Help Volunteer at Butler County United Way's Fair Booth
Monday, July 24, is not the only day Butler County United Way will have a booth at the fair. We will have a booth during the entire fair week, running Sunday, July 23 - Saturday, July 29.
During the week, a different fun event will take place each day. We are looking for volunteers to help run the booth and have a great time at the fair.

BCUW Annual Meeting Date Set

Butler County United Way's 2005- 2006 Annual Meeting will take place at the Cincinnati Marriot North at Union Centre on Thursday, September 14.
The event, sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, begins at 6 pm.

Teachers at Adena Elementary, part of Lakota Local Schools, received sweet treats for participating in Butler County United Way's recent pacesetter campaign.
