United Way Spring Day of Caring connects hundreds of volunteers to local nonprofit organizations. Using its relationship with its partner agencies, United Way matches volunteer groups with projects that fit their skills and interests. Volunteers have many choices including the type of project, degree of physical labor and full or half-day time commitment.

Want to Participate in a Day of Caring? Here's how...
Projects include, but are not limited to:
- Minor construction such as building shelves, repairing decks, etc.
- Painting
- Lawn/Landscaping
- Office/Clerical work
- Craft projects for children or seniors
- Youth Festival
- Mentoring/tutoring children
- Packing and/or sorting of items (ie food pantries)
- Clean-up/Fix-up
