Butler County Community Grant Consortium

How does the Butler County Community Grant Consortium work?

The Butler County Community Grants Consortium works to assist social service agencies acquire funding from outside Butler County. These funds help support creative new projects as well as established programs that have demonstrative results.

The work of the Consortium is directed by an advisory committee and fundraisers that consist of leaders from the Butler County Children Services Board, Butler County Department of Job and Family Services, Butler Technology and Career Development Schools, Butler County United Way, City of Hamilton, Hamilton Community Foundation and Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati.

2008 Request for Proposals

The Community Grant Consortium recently released the fall quarter request for proposals. Any non-profit organization in Butler County that has new or innovative programming ideas that could benefit from grant assistance are invited to apply for CGC services in seeking interested funding sources. In addition to locating potential funders, the CGC works with agencies to develop grant proposals, facilities collaboration among social agencies, and helps clarify community needs and program goals.
