Women's Initiative Mission:

To strengthen our community and change lives in Butler County through the collaborative efforts of women leaders who invest in Butler County United Way.

Women's Initiative Membership:

With Women's Initiative's goals in mind, women are encouraged to show support and join as members. There are three Women's Initiative membership levels.

Sneaker Circle Women who contribute up to $199 annually or volunteer through an event, program or committee of Butler County United Way.

Pump Circle Women who contribute between $200 and $999 annually are recognized as members of the Pump Circle.

Platform Circle Women who contribute $1,000 or more annually are recognized as members of the Platform Circle. These women are also recognized in Butler County United Way's Leadership Society and in United Way of America's Women's Initiative.

June June Cocktail Party

June 26th, 2007 marked the date for the Women's Initiative cocktail party held at the beautiful home of Sherry Armstead in Liberty Township. The recruitment event featured after-work cocktails and hors d'oeuvres along with a check presentation representing the funds raised by the Butler County United Way Women's Initiative over the past year. Women from the YWCA's Dove House were also present to share their emotional stories and bring a face to the causes being supported by the United Way and the Women's Initiative.
