The following are calculations from the 990 and have been approved by United Way of American, formal audit process and our board of trustees.
  • Administrative Costs: 7.2%
  • Campaign Costs: 9.5%

Overhead Calculation: 16.7%

  • Distributed Dollars to Local Programs and Services (Partner Agencies): 77%
  • Internal Program Costs: 6.3%

The program costs are related to our EITC work (recruiting volunteers and sponsors); Center for Family Solutions, Community Grant Consortium, Holiday Collaborative Project, cost to allocate dollars, run day of caring program, etc.
